What is the Receptionist role?

We are looking for a professional and communicative Receptionist who will be the first point of contact for our visitors and clients in the company. Hired person’s duties will be taking care of front desk activities, greeting guests and supporting various administrative tasks across the company. You will also represent the company’s image and will be responsible for making a good first impression.


  • Greeting visitors at the very moment they arrive at the office in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Answering and forwarding incoming phone calls.
  • Go-to person for our guests, answering their questions and directing them to the right people and places. 
  • Keeping the reception area in a presentable way – clean and organized.
  • Receiving, sorting and distributing incoming mail and packages. 
  • Keeping visitors records. 
  • Supplying the office with all the necessary materials. 
  • Preparing conference rooms for the meetings.
  • Handling office equipment such as fax machines, printers, and computers. 
  • Scheduling appointments.
  • Assisting other departments with ad-hoc administrative tasks. 


  • Proven experience as Receptionist, Front-desk assistant or similar administrative role.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional attitude and neat appearance. 
  • Punctuality. 
  • Confidentiality. 
  • Work-on experience with office equipment.
