What is an Accountant role?

An accountant performs financial functions related to the collection, accuracy, recording, analysis and presentation of a business, organization or company’s financial operations. In a smaller business, an accountant’s role may consist of primarily financial data collection, entry and report generation. Our company is looking for an Accountant to manage the company’s finance and accounting documents. In this role, you will actively participate in the preparation of financial statements according to specific standards and prepare reports and analyzes in the field of bookkeeping. 


  • Managing the company’s financial transactions.
  • Calculating and monitoring company’s receivables and liabilities.
  • Providing management with financial reports and analysis.
  • Preparing bank transactions.
  • Supporting month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Forecasting company’s budget.
  • Preparing balance sheets, accounts, profit and loss and financial statements, as well as other reports for the needs of the Management Board and external institutions.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field. 
  • Accounting experience, preferably as an independent position. 
  • Analytical skills, regularity and responsibility.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel. 
  • Experience with financial reporting requirements.
  • Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
